American Steel Carport Sales is an Authorized Independent Dealer that sells prefabricated metal carports and buildings for various manufacturers that we have a dealer contract with. Our job is to help you through the design and order process and submit to the manufacturer your authorized order contract. The manufacturer has the final approval or denial of the contract order. Our Refund Policy states that once our services are rendered, we will allow a store credit, but we will not refund your down payment.
You may cancel the order at any time. But once you have authorized the order and we have submitted the order to the manufacturer, we have fulfilled our obligations to you and the manufacturer. The downpayment is ours to keep for services rendered. We will not refund the downpayment once our job is complete.
To offer you the best product, service, and warranties, we have contracted with the top metal building manufacturers in America. As an independent dealer, ASCS services are separate and independent of the manufacturers we represent. The services ASCS provide will help ensure that your buying process is as easy as possible. All warranties, services, and products are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer. We have no authority over them or what they do.

Down Payments & Deposits
American Steel Carport Sales is allowed by law and as an authorized dealer, to collect and retain a Down Payment or Deposit and apply it as payment for services rendered. The manufacturers that we represent limit what we are allowed to collect. We are not allowed to collect more than (20) percent of the sale price. Typically, we collect only 15% percent to apply to our service fees. Payment for services rendered is due before we will forward your order to the manufacturing plant. Without a down payment or deposit, ASCS will not forward your order to the manufacturer or for financing.
Dealer’s Refund Policy
The customer may choose to cancel their order at any time, and it should stop manufacturing or delivery of the metal structure ordered. However, deposits or down payments are NOT REFUNDABLE because they are remuneration for service rendered to the customer. However, in good faith and to provide outstanding customer relations, we will retain as store credit, the down payment paid at the time of order. Furthermore, the customer may apply the credit towards a future down payment when ordering through ASCS. The store credit is forfeited if not applied within three (3) years. There are absolutely no exceptions to our refund policy. By placing an order, you agree to our policy.
Warranty and Complaint Resolution
It is the customer’s responsibility to work with the manufacturer for warranty issues or resolution to unexpected circumstances. These may include, but not limited to, delivery, installation, and customer service. At no time are we responsible for unforeseen events or circumstances due to the manufacturers’ policy nor their negligence.

- We have no control over manufacturers and must follow the manufacturer’s policy as an independent dealer.
- It is the sole responsibility of the customer to seek satisfactory resolution with the manufacturer.
American Steel Carport Sales Is Not Responsible For
Any manufacturers guarantees, warranties, installation issues, delivery times, or any other unforeseen circumstances that could arise throughout the process of delivery, shipping or installation. We will work in good faith with the customer and the manufacturer to assist in resolving issues if any develop as long as both parties are giving reasonable and conscious effort to resolve the issue. We take great pride in selling our featured brands. However, our responsibilities and influence are only as a “dealer” for these manufacturers.
As a dealer, American Steel Carport Sales has the right to collect Down Payments or Deposits as non-refundable remuneration for preparation and processing services rendered. In return for this consideration, the manufacturer deducts the down payment amount from the actual order. This compensation method saves money and time by reducing or eliminating business and operation costs which are passed on to the consumer.
